The project
The works were in a state of deterioration caused by infiltration of rainwater. After restoring the masonry wall, interventions were carried out including pre-consolidation, cleaning, partial integration, consolidation, and protection of the frescoes and the entire decorative apparatus that contains them.
The project was developed through three phases: preliminary, definitive, and executive design. The project was completed.
Design documentation
Survey of the as-built condition; analysis of deterioration patterns; description of consolidation interventions, pictorial integrations, and cleaning; drawings at scales 1:100, 1:50, 1:20, and 1:5.
Design phase duration
Preliminary design: 30 days; definitive design: 60 days; executive design: 30 days.
