Team
Service requested by the appointed professional, Arch. Patrick McIlroy (PJM Associates Ltd).
Services provided
Architectural and photographic survey, and decay analysis.
The project
Stoneleigh Abbey is a British monumental complex dating back to the 18th century (in its current form), protected by local heritage authorities.
Within the park, designed by Humphry Repton, stands a small 19th-century structure that once housed the pump for circulating the water of the artificial lake. At the request of the appointed professional, I carried out the architectural survey, the analysis of deterioration and structural issues, and provided initial intervention guidelines.
