The project
Preliminary design developed following the award of a tender by the Province of Ferrara. The project involved the installation of a removable structure to cover the central courtyard of the Castle. The design concept was approached not only from an architectural perspective but also with a strong focus on structural engineering, ensuring complete independence of the installation from the historic building fabric. The project was ultimately not pursued due to the seismic events of 2012.
