The project
This 16th-century patrician palace overlooking the Grand Canal currently houses the offices of the President and the Regional Council of Veneto.
The studio was involved throughout all three design phases.
A key aspect of the project was the need to modify the original leaded-glass windows to meet current safety and thermal insulation regulations.
The main design and craftsmanship challenge lay in preserving the historic glazing while achieving optimal comfort levels, without compromising the overall appearance of the façade.
